The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra celebrates its Golden Jubilee 50th Season. Following the “International Sheng Festival 2026” at Kai Tak Sports Park, where a sheng marathon with over a thousand participants set a new world record, the Orchestra continues its Greater Bay Area tour at Ma Wan 1868 (a new island arts community in Hong Kong), Parc Central in Guangzhou, and YOHO MALL in Yuen Long!

On 18 July, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra joins hands with YOHO MALL to bring this highly anticipated “International Sheng Festival Tour” to Yuen Long. On that day, YOHO MALL I Main Atrium will transform into a concert hall. Besides enjoying a close-up view of the "Sheng" – a traditional instrument rarely seen in everyday life – the Orchestra will specially present an ensemble of various Chinese instruments, performing classic pieces such as “Rising Higher Step by Step” and “Golden Snake Dances with Rapture”, as well as an innovative arrangement of the classic jazz and swing number “Sing Sing Sing”!
